That's the intense part. Also, gm's and devs aren't supposed to play this game, I don't know what's wrong with that Nexxos guy.

Why?
It doesn't matter, they all pick sides and have done that. Not playing the game will not prevent that since it is impossible to do a GM job without being inside game.
