Author Topic: Are electronic parts gathering mechanics supposed to work like this?  (Read 1461 times)

So I can make hundreds of 10mm, flamer fuel, throwing knives, etc in a couple of minutes but if I want to make sec it involves 2 trips to distant locations where there is high competition for a tiny amount of resources. Having shared cd of 5 per 5 minutes is ridiculous, no other entry level weapon is so hard to get ammo for.

I heard you can sell them at very good price in Gecko - that's where you can buy quite big amounts of them.

There's 100-300 SEC in Hub quite often. And almost always there are some electronic parts when I check. 2 trips give you enough to make 300 SEC, which is a lot for a whole day.

All the fun stuff is in the north, I've been farming to buy sec from vendors since crafting is borderline impossible and not worth the effort.

Damn, these are Energy Weapons - if you find MFC's or SEC's too hard to obtain, just use these mentioned 10mm pistols or flamers... Everything is balanced well, ammo should be rare 'cause EW are to be a top-tier weapon class. I'd even say that they are way too common - because of possibility of stealing MFC's and then trading out, as Killer Rabbit said.

Laser pistol is a top tier weapon? Hilarious. I don't use sg/flamers because this is a tb pistol build. Killer rabbits stealing mfc strategy is lame as hell, I'm not making a thief alt for farming ammo for the same reasons i don't have alts parked outside every location with broken computers, it's boring and shouldn't be necessary. As I said before I get just enough ammo from vendors but its unbalanced having plentiful ammo for everything but ew, making it hard to craft only hurts solo players since making anything rare in this game is meaningless to factions. It's hard to find it when there are only 100 people online because of the ridiculous shard cd, if anything you should be able to get 20 e-parts per 10 minutes per player. Making a gun and ammo is like 30 minutes minimum for laser pistol and i burn through 100 sec in a couple of fights.
