I can't stand those trolls waiting with plasma nades to kill somebody at gunrunners. I noticed that when you attack or kill a player in gun runners your reputation isn't going lower. I punched one troll and when I died my reputation is still the same. So they are doing this all day. I come with valuable stuff and they are just waiting to kill me and loot it without any punishment. This needs to be changed. Feature? Fuck that. When you attack somebody at gun runners you get -300 reputation if you kill somebody you get -500 reputation. Some penalty system must be! You can't just kill a player without any consequences. Let's see if those trolls are gonna come back. Devs your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance

what i cry post. and i also lost ~20k mfc and same amount of 5mm but i am not crying about it. deal with it. you want to trade just watch your back

I bet someone soon posts here his protips to avoid safetown trolls and how he has no problems with them because he's so pro.

Townkilling has been there forever. Now it's with sd plasmagrens. If that gets nerfed, it's gonna be 3x brd avenger. No big deal to lose it if you have a looter.
I think black and white solution is the only one here: either you can kill others or you don't. Only way to defeat other players in safe towns are by retarded suicided methods. If devs want to make safe town attacks possible, they should make a solid feature around it and make it clear for everyone how it works. Otherwise safe towns need to be just that: safe.

Avv , no.

This isn't about some steal trolls but actual ingame features not working properly that allows such stupid stunts. If there aren't any reputation changes when causing trouble in gun runners , i say it's a bug. Needs to be fixed and that's all.

It helps , players can use that to their advantage if he knows that the suicide killer has bad reputation. If the guy runs by a guard or just spawns close to them entering the map and get's spotted he is automaticly dead , it's not like players will level cap few more sneakers to just troll some traders. Wait wasn't this the case that you just could attack players with very bad karma in cities and not get punished ?

Knowing if you can shoot someone is gamble. Besides, it's not about shooting some certain guy, but the guy who stalks you with minigun. In that case you can do nothing but get out of town and hope he's not there next time. Or bring your own townburster and off that guy so that you can trade safely until he comes back. Unless he has fastrelog troll in hotel room.
Safe town trolling is more dangerous than unsafe robbery because the victim can't defend himself. Only try to avoid the dangers. I got no problem with that, nothing is so urgent that it needs to be done right away. Can do it 5 hours later or next week. The guy who plays 3 hours daily with one char probably can't afford that.

If you have bad karma guards are supposed to kill you on sight. That's the point of this topic, if somebody kills few times players at gun runners he will eventually have bad karma so next time when he enters he will be insta dead by guards.

I agree with Vandal. I don't even go to GR anymore because of this problem. I'd rather craft at Glow and get radiated or maybe killed by PKs who work hard for their kills, than get PK'd at GR by lazy PKs who suffer no penalties for crimes committed right in front of the guards.

Killing few inside gunrunner's fortress? I think "few" is too much already. Would be better that if you attack someone in fortress your reputation will drop to -much, so you need to grind quests again to raise it to gain access to fortress, and with negative rep it'll be hard, as they won't give you any quests until it'll decay to neutral.
This way, if you want to kill someone inside, you must waste a lot time on their quests, and then you can access fortress and kill one guy, after that you better create another character and again waste a lot time, it'll be really pain-in-ass to do, so killing there will be stoped or will be really rare, as killer will suffer much more than his victim.

I think gunrunners shouldnt allow anyone having a gun unholstered. Its their place, their rules, someone having a minigun could be considered as a threat.

I think gunrunners shouldnt allow anyone having a gun unholstered. Its their place, their rules, someone having a minigun could be considered as a threat.

Then you can steal freely because you can't be shot.
