i came across the dark ambient genre a time ago,
fits to almost every situation in a wastelandish universe.. a few examples

<edit> also i have to spam the whole internet with video´s of those guy´s here. it´s "The Red Chord"
awesome music, hilarious interviews, just nice dudes..
some live events
funny interviews, even if you don´t like the music :D its pure comedy
and outtakes lol

I love to listen to pagan and folk metal when I play any videogame. It makes for awesome atmosphere for me. This is song I go to alot,

I also listen to TONS of other videogame soundtracks while playing games. For this game in particular I tend to listen to Fallout 3 soundtrack and NV as well as F1 and 2. While lurking forums I clicked one of Surfs links in his sig I think to a few tracks he made and they fit game very nicely.

What starts out as a cool black metal song with good riffs, turns out into something else. Vocals sure are different from many others.

It's a good song, one of the rare black metal songs with somewhat enjoyable riffs.

Very recent find, fell in love with this song at that very instant. The riffs are awesome. It's a different song from their earlier albums, but the new approach is quite great. Only thing not fitting that well into the song, are the vocals. Aside from that, great and good song. 8/10.

and i can't enough of this, sometimes i just search for music intentionally and i don't find anything that hits the mood, but now randomly, just by chance i found something that makes my jaw drop open again. :)
