it just forces you to kill off your current character and start a new one, you have to plan on exactly what choices you want to make before you even make a character, for my energy gunner i plan on what i'm going to up and how many skillpoints it is going to cost for the upping of the skills, perks have to be decided before you even start the character as do your stats, the proffesion stats can be reached by using drugs, simple as that.
