Does wood use on campfire tent change map and destroy items in container?

Hey guys i found some wood. if i do the above does the tent map refresh, meaning i lose all items?
also does it recquire 100 outdoorsman? probbably not

Nope. Just use some wood to create bigger campfire so you can craft some items if you want. Only when you create a new tent, the previous tent disappears
