Author Topic: Two modes available for worldmap travel with high outdoorsman  (Read 3012 times)


Basically my idea is that at a certain % you get two options, avoid encounter or search for encounter. Avoid decreases your chance of encountering but also decreases your chance to choose to avoid it while searching increases the frequency of encounters and your chance to choose if you want to fight.

I like this one better. Characters with high outdoorsman have a problem with too few encounters to level up when they want to. "Search for trouble" unlocked at 75% and "Be careful" unlocked at 100% would be nice.

I don't like the second affects.

Or at least the affects that messes with your chance to choose to leave or go into encounter.

It should be switched:

Avoid decreases your chance of encountering and increases your chance to choose if you want to fight while searching increases the frequency of encounters and also decreases your chance to choose to avoid it.

No, its shouldnt be switched. Outsdoorman should have bigger affect on game than just 175 to cap support perks

Search should be first at lower outdoorsman, which logically would be less chance to chose to avoid
Avoiding requires more outdoorsman which increases your chance to chose to avoid.

Wtf, it already has huge uses, but as always it's for alts.  General use by loners and other players it is still useful as well.

Besides that, the logic is missing.

If your being very cautious, and playing close attention, you'll more likely find yourself in a position of choice, being the first one to notice situations before you yourself are noticed.  And vice versa.

Not only that, but the affects negate each other out it would seem...  Oh yeah you will get less encounters but whatever encounters you do get you will prolly be forced into them.  And Yeah if you look for them you'll get shit tons of encounters but will be able to choose not to get into them more likely (but so many encounters = you will likely find yourself forced into a couple).

Just doesn't make sense to me.

No.

This is the case in fonline, xp grinding with high outdoors takes longer than with low outdoors because you encounter less.
