In FOnline, just like in the original Fallout games, combat messages are something like:
- You were hit for X hit points.
- Brotherhood Paladin was hit for X hit points.
While in Fallout: Tactics, they give more "details" such as:
- Warrior hit Raider for X hit points.
Although I came up with this suggestion after I found the limitations of the current combat message system while playing with the amboy tactical tool , I think using the system from Fallout: Tactics (if possible?) would make it easier to understand what's going on during a fight, and even after the fight, because players usually save and read their logs, even show it to other players to give examples of situations, or to prove something which is being discussed about in a trollthread
