Just noticing how annoyingly time consuming it is to get enough ammo for certain guns, especially because im leveling a burster. Yes yes, I know I could just use single shots to level... But screw that. Bursting is fun, so my question is:

What NPCs give a decent amount of certain ammo types, for example gangs and mobsters around New Reno give good quantities of .45 cal, usually well over 100 for each mob who carries it, and the strike rate of encounters is quite high

Is there any encounter like that for:

10mm
14mm
HN needler cartridges
7.62mm
12 ga. Shotgun Shells
223. FMJ

While I don't expect people to give up their super secret farming locations, it would be nice for newer players to know where to get ammo at a reasonable rate without crafting.

You can get a nice amount of 10mm and shotgun shells from ghoul encounters around Gecko and Necro. 7.62mm can be looted from raiders around the raider base (between Broken Hills and Vault City).
I don't know about the others.

14mm, 7.62mm, 12 ga. Shotgun Shells - you can steal this from rangers. You need only 180-200% steal and never gonna fail.
