streamlining game text?
« on: February 16, 2012, 10:57:03 pm »

I dont mean to offend the people that write the dialog for fonline but the english in this game is lacking substance. being a player that enjoys running quests its frustrating when someone is using words in your language but not speaking it. Id like to offer my services as a native english speaker and as someone that cares enough about fonline to try and help. if you want to have a truly immersive experience the dialog should feel natural. it would be possible for me to assemble a group of people and get this done.once again im offering to help improve the experience and in no way am i trying to discredit the people that write the txt.

no you miss my point, i dont want to write quests or "compete" with anyone. I would like to rewrite the dialog in game to make some of it make sense in english, while newer quests have been better about it alot of the old dialog still floating around is pretty bad.
