I'm in. Time I got back into my writing skills that always ended up failing because of bad story foreshadowing. :P

What I could see before, your writing was indeed very good. Keep on working on it and make an entry in the event! :)
I will see if I can test my own skills but I doubt it'll make a sharp cut amongst the native speakers. ;)
EnclaveSniper:
Yep I'm postin' my shiz in here.
This'll be fun.
Eternauta:
Competition against others who are native speakers and/or good writers will be tough, but I hope I can come up with something. Too bad I'm a bit busy these days but I will try, this is totally worth it.
Balthasar:
As a little help i wrote a small demo text. You can use this to test around a bit in first place (c/p on an empty holo-tape):
One day I found a holo-disc and didnt know what to do with it. This shiny little thing had some kind of wheel inside, embedded in some sort of electronic device. Im no expert in such things but I heard that one can store some data on it. But I was clueless how to do so. As a trader my only advantage over others is to collect and to keep important information and knowledge of all kind. Especially if its related to pre-war technology. This was the reason, why I couldnt just ask some scientist for help. I feared to lose the disc somehow. Information about goods of higher value seem to have their own physical laws in terms of travel speed and spreading in this wasteland. A thief in the night, while Im sleeping, some hired mercenaries blocking my way, while Im traveling. Whatever! I decided to better be careful. I had a good feeling about this thing and I already knew were to sell it later on but I had to get behind the secret of his functionality first. Two days and 2000 caps later I was on a trail with a caravan to Vault City. How I finally managed to get the information I was seeking for isnt really worth telling. Lets just say: Money can open many doors and I also found out, where I could get a lot more of them. I made a good profit by selling those tapes. But the most profit I made with the know-how of its functionality. This happened a long time ago and since nowadays these Holo-Tapes are well known throughout the wasteland Ill share my knowledge with you, dear reader. If you are a lucky guy and own a so called PipBoy you just plug them into it and you are able to read out the data or to write something on it. If not, well, then you need some computer, I guess. The limit of each tape is about 2000 chars. dont get fuzzy about the little input screen you have. Write down the text before and copy/paste it later onto the disc. Note, that the single quotation mark between letters (like I'm) will be ignored when you paste the text. And finally: Press play on tape! Run.
This text has exactly 2000 chars (including spaces), which is almost* the maximum number, which you are able to store on a holo-tape. This may also help you to compare it to your story and see if it has less or more chars.
* The exact max number of chars is somewhere between 2000 and 2010.
