Need some help!

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble running the game. I'm running on a Sony Vaio laptop, I have the Fallout 2 game installed, and FOnline with all of the updates. So, I go to open the game, the menu is fine. But when I go to "Play", the screen pops up, but most of it is black. In the top left corner I can see the game, but only a small square so I can't see a thing. I've looked through the forum to see if any of it could help, but I don't see anything that's helped. Or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. So, if anyone can help that'd be great. I've played this before on my other laptop but it got screwed up, so I had to buy a new one. Never had this problem until I got this laptop. Thanks for reading!

Have you tried to still just register a character and log in?  It may let you do that.  Also maybe it sounds like a resolution issue.  But I'm not sure.

You should try running the game windowed or at a different resolution
