His state of mind does not justify why someone would break into his account. He had all rights to screw you guys over in the game. You guys had NO rights to log into his account without permission even if you knew his password.
You could have hunted him down in game.

I don't understand why he would give anyone his password but it still does not allow you to log in as him.
Giving a password away is like giving away keys to your house. But you still don't have rights to step on his property without permission.

All of this could easily be avoided if everyone kept their passwords to themselves and no one would share accounts or log in on other's accounts.

We had the exact same "rights" (wtf) to use his freely shared passwords to take back our items as he had to use our freely shared base to steal our stuff. I'll ignore the many other logical and illogical fallacies in your post.

This isn't about personal user morality it's about doing stupid shit in a game then threatening to kill people and harassing them epically irl.

If it makes you feel any better, elvis immediately started a new faction and gave out his passwords to the very same characters we used to get our stuff back. His new friends (nicolas and some guy) immediately stole all his characters and began taunting him with them. of course i was blamed. so yes his mental processes are the root cause of all his problems, and preaching morality aint gonna help that, sorry.
