actually you are wrong. If you do the calculations you will see that you will enjoy a 95% on the eyes at max range with a laser pistol. And the -20% penalty for using a plasma pistol won't stop you from having 95% at eyes from max range either.

having extra eyesight is a good thing. seeing sneakers earlier and seeing problems coming earlier. If you go for weapon% then you should always remember Pe > Int
