Factions with Adv Workbench

Factions will get the higher crafting facilities when they get fleshed out.

You would then have to pay for access using your Faction points.

I think youre choosing the wrong dialogue options merc is for mutie quest, try asking waht the gunrunners do.

Pre-wipe there was no such thing as an advanced workbench.

Yeah, I think it was called "extra tools" at the time. Which meant it could do 7.62 ammo, basically. It fit because that particular breed of Raider frequently has that kind of gun. They had to be making it somewhere after all.

If you didn't/don't mind being a Raider and not in a player faction, it's not such a bad way to get the ammunition. The little base isn't even that far from the BH mine, which has the mats you need for the ammo, and the gun. (Or the Gecko mine I suppose, but the immediate area is rotten with annoying Ghoul encounters.)
