Is New Vegas considered as canon by Fonline 2238 team?

<< < (2/2)

Lexx:
Nobody said that 2238 should be considered as canon.

Swarm:
I misunderstood post. Thought he asking if new vegas was considered cannon to 2238, but was asking what developers opinion on canon was.

I'm not a developer but want to put my input on this. The way I looked at fallout3 was that bethseda wanted to make their own game and story and not have to worry about continuing the canon with previous games so they had the setting as far as way as possible. Fallout3 is part of the fallout universe, it continues a possible story of the Enclave even if the story was very bad.

Fallout New Vegas is loose cannon they have hints and sayings that tie back to fallout1/2 but nothing that really could say what endings and events in fallout2 is canon.
