[bug]gecko skin

hi,
when I try to skin off the gecko I killed by myself in the toxic cave, they dont have any skin? I do it just 15 minute before and there was skin on them.is there a timeout for gecko skin off?
I have the perk "gecko skinning" on my char but impossible to get skin from dead gecko in toxic cave
