Do you believe the addition of seperate Helmets from Armours is an improvement?

Yes - I love having another item to lug around and maybe I want to mis match sets...
- 38 (73.1%)
No - They are merely an extranous item.  An Armor set is complete and sufficent.

Anybody having withdrawl symtoms of Diablo 2 type loot drops?

It's all really about suppression of dissension, consensus through censorship.  Whether through extermination of those who have different or conflicting viewpoints or subtle spin of available media.  If there is only one opinion left, it must be right, right?

I like the helmets. They keep Swag's bald head warm and toasty in the wasteland. Besides, it was way to easy to just craft BA all day before. Now it's a 2 piece deal. Just curious, the helmets are craftable with profession right?

They are craftable. Also helmets can hide your slaver tattoo.

Curious as to how Diablo relates to this, i recall picking up lots of helmets in Diablo 2. So wouldn't having npcs drop armor and helmets cure the withdrawal symptoms? Or maybe I'm misinterpreting.

Cool that they hide slaver tattoos too. Thanks for answering my noob inquiry Jotisz :D

More items to craft/loot/farm/steal/stack in tent. I feel it has  minimal impact on the gameplay.

I dig 'em.

I like helmets, mostly because in 3D era they will bring some more customization to the characters.

I don't like them... I never thought I would see that in fallout

I like them. Doubt they'll have much overall effect in the game versus having one-piece armor but I like them just the same. Hats rule!

I think it is better to raise this thread from the grave instead of directly throwing some Suggestion.

I understand that one of the main objectives in 3d development is to allow more customization for our characters. However, in FOnline everyones tends to use the bestestest gear and this means that, I bet, we will have lots of 3d guys running around with their heads covered by the same helmets.

I am not a Terraria player but a friend showed it to me the other day, and one feature looked a bit interesting: you seem to be able to wear one set of armor for the stats, and another set of armor for the looks. Now I wouldn't like FOnline 3d models to work exactly like that because it sounds more than uncomfortable in terms of CW and maybe even quite trollish (heck, we already have bluesuits with lots of AC). But imho it would be interesting that armors gave you stats both for body *and* head, without the use of helmets. Instead of helmets, we could choose certain objects for our heads during character creation - they would not modify our stats, they'd be there just for aesthetics. Why not? I am thinking for example about the representation of some characters by Cryofluid, or recently Creep, etc. If we could "wear" gas masks, hats, goggles, sunglasses, hoods, even helmets (or no headgear) all the time just for the looks and without caring about items which we can lose anytime, I think we would have more possibilities in customization than if we were "forced" to use the best armors and helmets. Otherwise, I think, such headgear items would become marginal as people will concentrate on CA helmets.

Power armors could be an exception, and also in case it's not clear, armors would still change our body appearance so our enemy knows what we're wearing.

NPCs will look a bit weird when/if 3d comes because they all wear helmets and masks.
Don't take wrong helmets cool and all but a metal mask doesn't really fit a brotherhood paladin.

I like helmets, mostly because in 3D era they will bring some more customization to the characters.

Then we can have mobster fedoras!

I want a monocle and an eyepatch.

?? when have paladins ever worn a metal mask. They wear T51b helmets.

Do you mean playing a paladin, well that comes down to devs not adding PA.

I mean the paladins in front of bunkers in Den,NCR, and SF , they are supposed to wear TA.
