Does BRD work with %damage ammo modifiers?

For example if you shoot a 10mm SMG, does 2 damage become 4 damage before %DR?

Kombajn:
Yup. It is added to your dmg before all that stuff like ammo modifier, armor modifer etc. If nothing has changed.
