Accounts Hacked - Game Rules

EDIT: Seems that another of my characters got hacked and password changed, one of my PVP fighters...

I'm wondering how can this be happening so often. I mean it can't be just a fault of players, that their accounts are stolen, there must be some weakness on the server side or something. Or am I mistaken? I won't believe that all those players just gave their passwords away or they had so weak passwords that it can be breached easily.
Also I feel very sorry for you, guys. :( I hope these suckers will be caught soon.

I'd like to know what's the common denominator for players that's been hacked. Same forum? Same passwords somewhere? Same LAN? Same activities (accidentaly firing up some sniffing malware)?

What i know about this issue as (first) victim of Hacked Account :
- The hacker is french
- The victims are all french from what we know
- The whole french community use one same forum
- People with hacked accounts had same password on french forums and ingame (in my case, not, but i used the same password as in obt2 and cbt, and i had a fuckin PM with it inside :()
I hope it is only our forum, but he problem is big enough.... Too many Hacked accounts, and we are almost sure about who is the hacking crew... But we can't proove it unfortunately

We have been hacked too, but nothing like you, he had just delete our tent where was realy a lot of stuff.
The password was shared, we knew every player who had it by the real life and I don't think they wanted to loose a big part of their stuff.
This password wasn't on any forum or anything else.
