Merc cant trade/carry :(

This is correct, except for them being willing to walk to hell and back for their leader. Those would be companions.
Mercs will stick around if you have caps, if you don't they'll get paid by someone else.
You use your mercs to guard the slaves and the slaves to carry your stuff.
There's only so many ways I can repeat the same thing ;)

we are old enough dude and we just want the mercs to carry our stuff cause companions are 2 hard and rare to get and i got good natured trait and i cant own any slaves

we get it aint happening. you dont want it like that and thats - kind of - ok. whats less ok are the semi-rp excuses. we are getting into semantics here and that wont solve shit. the truth is a merc irl would carry whatever you want him to. you, on the other hand, dont want them to because of the powergathering. its patching up a leaking dam with a poststamp, but you know. you are devs. go ahead and knock yourselves out ;)
