I have just made my safe house(ranger perk) and have been trying to make my campfire upgrade. i was told u need wood i have 29 on me when i try and have tried all possibilties my house is in city location.

Am i missing something?

You tried using "use inventory on" didn't you? if not click and select rucksack icon then select wood.
If you have tried this already then I don't know what's wrong as this is how it works for me.

You have to be careful with the ghouls though, if they do get a shot off they have very high luck and a good chance to get an evil crit of doom on you.
