There is same issue with Laser Rifle now, it does 200+ groin crits, 220+ head/eye. Its dmg compared even to Plasma Rifle (30-65) is insane, it was buffed from 25-50 to 50-75.

Yep, the update will tone down these weapons.
Hopefully the new ones will be better than the old, without being crazy :)

If you boost laser, boost plasma too!
Solar:
Plasma is OK I think. Doesn't suffer so much vs Laser anyway ;)
