And why it has to be changed? Because u died couple times? O_o
Just imagine: i have few chars, and havent been killed by other player this session! Why is that? Because of experience. Not my char, but mine.

Just think and it will be fine. If you are collecting sh... i mean junk: u wear nothing. There is no need to whine if u get killed, cause u lose nothing... u follow?
If you want to mine, choose low-players hours. And wear nothing.
If you want to hunt, choose some empty square, and lvl up.
craft bbs, and hunt molerats.
If you dont know how to do something (lvl up, gear yourself etc) just ask, but dont force everyone else to play lame-no risk game, because you cant handle simplest things.

seriously man, whining about getting killed is so retarded.

This game is definitely difficult for new players.  Though I like the idea of a tutorial newb island, it will still be quite a rude awakening once new players enter the main server.  Another potential option is a grace period for the first 2 or 3 levels of any character where if you die, whether by pk or npc, you are able to respawn with whatever you were carrying at the time of death.  This period would allow new players to acquire a few materials, get hides and make their tents without the frustration of dying and losing everything repeatedly and yet still experience how difficult and harsh the wasteland is.  Maybe something like this will be enough to keep players from quitting after 2 hours and hopefully long enough for them to hooked on this game like the rest of us.

I see there's no point discussing with you Surf, because you just think that your opinion is the only truth we should all follow. People who like to kill weaker and unprepared players in a game like this are sick/brain-damaged from your point of view.
You like fair competition in gaming, they also like the less fair situations. I understand them and see nothing wrong in it as long as it's just a game(FOnline is basically created for such stuff and most people including the developers don't want to change it).

That I wanted to say.

Iam playign this GAME (overall starting from cbt TLA) since 2008 , then this server for 2 years, I see nothing have changed with game mechanic to help newbies - nothing.
And Its my look - from player eyes, not from some fancy GM which is playing once per month at his main character and pissed off those mechanic.
Why don't you let to help making game easier some other people, who are playing this game , server for long time, isntead giving it to lulz guys, that got job, and many other things than testing this, but only coming inside game and creating stupid events with zylions of mutants, trolling and banning - why don't you play like a normal gamer or a hardcore gamer like some does, then you'll see what we are talking about.
Surf I'm dissapointed.

That's why you should take it with grain of salt. Obviously this is the part of beta that haven't received any love yet, and things has to come.
I think you could dig up some interesting ideas why and how this can be improved, but it often creates big design problems that need to be resolved before anything happens.

I'm sure I saw ideas like level-based encounters, which were not directly denied, but were not implementable without consequences either.
