FODE istead of Fonline2238

ok it loks verry good but there is one problem :
1. Get the new files
* Download http://www.speedyshare.com/file/ZGnCq/2238Client-PostwipeJanuary2012.zip
* Extract contents to your FOnline directory. Overwrite everything.
DONE !

 after i download the zip i cant  extract it !! ( The archive is either in unknown format or dameget )

It's the file everyone else has used and should be a simple and normal zip file - so my first guess would be that it didn't download correctly for some reason, and would therefore suggest you try and redownload it again before trying anything else.

If you're having a problem with downloading from Speedyshare, then the files (exactly the same zip) are also uploaded here :

OK. I fix the problem. I downloaded the 2238Client_PostwipeJanuary2012.zip  from here http://www.mediafire.com/?jee6rj06afgtzr6   

( All other sites are total shit !! realy )


Here's a quick guide for you.



1. Get the new files
* Download http://www.speedyshare.com/file/ZGnCq/2238Client-PostwipeJanuary2012.zip (download file from link above this one dont work properly)

* Extract contents to your FOnline directory. Overwrite everything.

2. Set up your settings
* Open "FO2238Config.exe" which is located in your FOnline 2238 directory
* Open "DataFiles" tab and locate your "master.dat" and "critter.dat" files.

3. Deleting some file(s)
* Go to your data folder under your FOnline 2238 directory (e.g. E:/Games/FOnline 2238/data/)
* Delete ".cache" files similar to this: "94.23.237.127" or "fonline2238.net". Do NOT delete "default.cache". No means no, don't touch it.
* If you didn't find any of these or just one of these. Delete the ones you found or just continue to the 4. step.

4. And one little thing more
* Check is the server online (http://fo2238.fodev.net/status/)
* Open "FOnline.exe"
* Click "Play". Use the default username and password. Wait, until you get back to the menu.

5. Register and play
* Click "Register" to create a character
* Play the game

This is it, works for me. I hope i helped somebody  :)
