You attack guarded town, guarded town calls for help!

(1/1)

Allright if town patrols, caravans has radio and they talk to people then they know whats happening in town. So if some minigunners decide to play in guarded town and start killing guards (one guard should be enough), then towns call for help of their nearby patrols and caravans, so more and more reinforcements are coming till attackers are dead, then they walk out of the map and get back to patrolling. That would really help, because now even half of vault city is usually killed and it shouldnt be that way for sure. What do you think?

PS. That wont work on suicide bombing of course cause the attacker kills himself too :>

Alvarez:
I think it's a great idea, since listening to the radio would then actually make sense.

"Breaker, breaker 1-9, this is Modoc, request for assistance, they're killing everybody, no, please, for the love of... D13, CR1TT0R, l0l0l0l!*BANGBANGBANG**slop**thud*"

The dear pastor just screamed into the wasteland's air for help.
While his pleas were unanswered and he's goin to respawn in few minutes anyway, we should thank him for warning us about PKs in Modoc and our radio in active slot.

Alvarez over and out.

Well, this makes sense. And for suicide bombing, despite his being dead, his description remains, and his reputation should drop in the neighbor towns, they could even react to him as he enters the city. We could go a bit further by lowering reputation or even flagging members of the same faction, which would be a way to lessen the counter effect of alting. Also it would force faction leaders to be careful about their troops they pick.

Still, the main problem is that alting, be it in 10, 20 or 30 minutes, will always trample any sort of control we establish.
