FOnline: 2238 under LINUX

i have ubuntu 10.10 too. all works good if you do step by step as  guide said on first page of this topic. ;)

I cannot get FOnline.exe to start.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.1 and wine 1.2
The link for the installation guide is dead as several other people have pointed out in this thread!!!

try starting using wine not just .exe itself:
~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/FOnline$ wine FOnline.exe

Have  the same problem with lost ui graphics
Ubuntu 10.10 Default 3D Nvidia drivers.

Thx for the tip, I tried running FOnline.exe like you specified.
The same thing happens, a window pops up for a brief period and then crashes back to the shell, now I get a permission error for the /dev/snd/seq device, although this error persists [fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32caa4,0x00000000), stub!]:
