Totally lost with installation

I uninstalled the fonline and reinstalled a new client. I installed it the same way I did last time. When I click on update server I get this.

Connecting to the update server...
Can't connect to the update server (94.23.237.127).


I'm only mediocre when it comes to computers. What do I need to do from here?

I DLed the 2238Client_PostwipeJanuary2012 and I saw somewhere on the forum to cut and paste all of this into the current fonline folder and overwrite everything.

Also I have read something about putting the master and critter files into the DataFiles (which is a Microsoft Office Outlook Configuration File) This part confuses me  ???

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Well I got into the game. I didn't update anything either. weird. I'm not sure if the sound is working.

by reinstaling a new client, you mean you reinstaled the original client, than you unziped the update gave by Atom?

Yes, and then I went through the configtools and linked the master/critter.dat files.

It works but I don't have sound effects.
