gathering timers

sooo.... about how long does it take for the ore and minerals respawn? cause i've been waiting a little while now and it still says "resources depleted" this is kind of making crafting impossible... just saying...

Cant fight without a weapon, cant make a weapon with ores, cant get ores without a hammer, cant get a hammer without ores. Stock up on flints, since cant tell if its depleted without using up lots of flints.

Sharpening a spear should not need mine ores. Even a regular spear. A spear is just a stick with a flint on it. Camping mines with a load of flints just to melee with more than a sharpened pole is tedious.

This will hopefully be adjusted.

ok heres another question... why doesnt the general merchants buy crap? its what they sell. like seriously, you cant even sell a hammer to them? can you only sell high level gear? cause if thats so the whole economic system is screwed up. im just going to wait for tomorrow. hopfully they start up the update server and make a new update to fix this shit. :-\

Dismantle stuff, I got even HQ mats from loot with non-tagged and non-raised science skill. I think if you're crafter, you'll have even more science than me, so you'll probably get even more and better mats from it.

There is a list forming of current issues with the new mechanics in game, and the resource system is high up on it.  At this point it is a bit bass ackwards.  Though I would like to know if anyone has gotten a timer figured out on how long til you have a chance to fight 30 other bluesuits for some ore in a mine?

SMG is best miner's weapon and key to profit, works against NPCs and miners with mats in inventory. Too bad you need a friend for 2nd action, as guard don't like it, still it's better than waiting and spaming rocks with hammer. Also miners always have only 2 minerals/ore because they simply can't have more, as it replenishes one by one, and you can't get more than 1 swing from one sources, so you'll spend 10 bullets on 2 minerals/ore, what isn't good actually.

They said they wanted to have less Alts, this wipe was supposed to make crafting alts unnecessary. instead it made them useless i hammered for 30 mins and got not a single ore/mineral. Plus now i need a barter alt to sell anything, I dont understand why Jacob the 'Arms Dealer' wont buy my guns at all?

The minerals refreshing will be fixed, traders wont buy stuff not on their list (there's some work needs doing on that too).

Patience little ones, its obviously been too long since the last wipe and everyone has forgotten these things always happen :P

hmm... i guess your right solar. i shouldnt expect the game to be flawless, i mean even big games like SWTOR still have glitches and bugs that need fixing after it launches. i will wait patiently and wont rage quit over these little things. thanks for pointing these things out solar. :)
