If you play with the restoration patch, you can dig up the original discoverers corpse in Golgatha and find the map to that place there.
Fallout 2 was released 1998, not 1994 btw.

Also F2SE is a savegame editor, I believe it will let you "unbecome" a slaver for a short while to see it.

well, i do not wanna use F2SE, if i get stuck i have 4 slots i save my game
