Need help for setting proxy server.

Hi, all guys:

    I'm a Chinese player, you know we could not access foreign controy server directly. We have to  play FOnline 2238 by using some proxy software, but the ping is always between 500~700. Now I found a Russian proxy server, but after I set it in "net" tab of FOnline configurator and click play button, it crash immdieatly.
Then I set the proxy server address in fonline.cfg, it do not crash, but I still could not access our FOnline server.

     Who could tell me how can I set the proxy server correctly?

By the way, now I access our forum by this proxy server, it works normally, just could not access fonline, Could fonline client get the setting from IE?
