it used to work perfectly fine, but now the character planner is extremely slow when i put in skill points for example and it tends to make Firefox not responding. Do you know what may cause that ?

I use Firefox v 3.6.13.

Firefox 3.6.13 itself causes that. This has been happening with some other versions of Firefox too (worked fine with 3.6.12). You just have to wait for FF update or try it with other browser. Works fine with Firefox 4 beta.
