Cooper's farm
« on: December 17, 2011, 03:08:50 am »

I have a character who is about to join Raiders by doing the quest where you have to kill Cooper. I went to his farm to do it, but I noticed a locked shed that my char can't lockpick. Does anyone know what is in there? How high lockpick skill do I need to open the door? I was also thinking of blowing the door with dynamite, but I'm not sure if I can leave the map to get some. What I mean is, will the quest fail if I leave before killing Cooper, or can I come back again after getting some dynamite or lockpicks? I really dont want to screw the quest or miss some nice stuff that might be in the shed. If nobody knows the answer, I might as well start a new lockpicker char and find out myself.

You can leave and come back to the mission when ever you want, it's like the Brotherhood of Steel mission, you can leave the mission at pause and come back to finish it later...

I confirm what Alexandrite said. You can leave the map and come back again. Unfortunately blowing the door up with dynamite didn't work. I had a character with 140% traps with me to give it a shot, but that didn't put a scratch on it. I'll now proceed to plan B, and create a lockpicker char. This might take some time, but I'll grind as hard as I can. Stay tuned.

Yay, my new lockpicker was able to open the door! With around 130% lockpick skill I didn't even need to use my advanced lockpicks. First try did the trick. And inside the shed I found... Well( I'm not sure if I should tell. I don't want to ruin your surprise. ;) You guys should probably make new chars and go there to see for yourselves. Or will anyone believe me if I claim that there were FREAKIN HUGE AMOUNTS OF
