Something new to do at encounters

I would like to see something else to do in encounters than checking caves, gathering roots or other resources..
Maybe something "small" quests like help farmers kill geckos to protect their homes for example.
Also something skill required works like:
Repair well for exp and maybe something basic stuff.
Heal injured person and got exp.
Just small jobs like that.

Make few maps for these "to do" thingies.
Write scripts that can manage these thingies.

Upgrade caves to be more rewarding/entertaining than they are now
AND if the cave is empty make a script making it also the smallest one possible or adding a cave-in blocking further way

hrmm in case of accept i could map few such encounters

Seems a decent idea to me, the more complexity and variability you could build into them the better too.
