Best way to level up slaves?

Desert Mutt:
I saw some combat slaves armed with big guns (about 10 or 15 of them) killing every NPC in Hub Oldtown.
Does anyone have  any idea if it is a good way to level them up?
What is the fastest or effortless way to level up slaves?

Slaver Snipe:
Sharpened Spear+ toxic cave gecko's, or the gecko in klamath or the rats in vault 13. As long as your slaves have leather armor/metal armor sprite they should be fine.

Senocular:
All I can tell you is that they are not worth leveling. You can't leave them in base and catch more, you need to be extremaly cautionous or hours of work go to waste, etc. etc.
