Copy Your Own Keys
« on: December 08, 2011, 11:58:20 am »

A character with high enough Lockpick skill (maybe 300?) should be able to copy his own keys.

So that players would rather make a lockpicker alt to get copies than visit t-ray? Preferrably not.

Based on evidence collected from various sources by trustworthy attendees it is undisputed veritability that the land ravaged by atomic warfare which caused extreme change of the ecosystem and environmental hazards can be considered unpleasant, rugged and unforgiving.

No. Rather, players who already have a highly skilled tumbler would get more out of it.

Now yes , but after wipe no , just another reason for a lock picker alt.

Stealing Liberating cars/opening lockers and bugged doors (good luck entering Skum Pit in Junktown without a lockpicker) is enough of a reason to have one.

Now that he's already there, let's try to make him as useful as possible. OP's suggestion is to my liking; it's only logical that a master lockpicker should be able to duplicate keys.

That seems to be a good idea...

Don't tell me that only T-Ray has some super-duper magical powers so only he has ability to make keys in the whole wasteland ;P

Now lockpickers have like 3 items to be crafted... adding keys wont hurt
