the 8 min cd is the usual cure worse than the disease, or you can see it as a marvelous example of how much are creative the players when they have the right motivation

thinked to punish poor fireworks artist at NCR ( I cannot understand why, people come to NCR to watch fireworks, it is like give 8 min cd to everyone that die at New Reno with a weapon in his/her hand) it ended to pun unperceptive people that dont has come to NCR to waste his/her time and watch fireworks ...

This isn't an intentional game feature, or if it is, it's the worst one I've ever seen.  "Lets make it so people can make other players who haven't done wrong be stuck out of game for 8 mins, that's a great game feature!"  It takes maybe 2 seconds for a fast player to put a bomb on you.  So the choice is focus soo much on the players around you, you can barely do anything in a town that involves PLAYING the game, or be abused and stuck in 8 min rep.

I know all you happy bombers out there are afraid of losing your prime targets and hours of fun time, but this isn't BombOnline 2238.  It's Fonline 2238, and it's a GAME, and by definition games are supposed to be fun for the players.  And in an RPG usually for differing styles of players.  Relax folks no body is talking about making the game an actual challenge by changing pvp systems.  It's just bringing up an issue that was unforeseen when this feature was brought into the game.  I mean really people can already toy with and abuse weaker players dozens of different ways, is it so bad to lose one that really wasn't intended in the first place?

Bring back the randomized respawn.

That would make the game more fun.

Die in NCR, respawn in Klamath or SF.

Oh yes.

This will make the bombers think twice.

Well since so far only a noted bomber is the one who brought it up, I don't think we have to worry about that being the way the fix the issue.  Since it isn't where you respawn, it's the timer added to people who haven't done a crime.  Who knows, maybe they'll make it so whomever activates a bomb in a guarded town automatically sets it off in hands with a Contained explosion, self only.  Now that would be a 'blast'

That makes planting on people double-plus funny!

How would that happen?
Does the town broadcast detonator signals on all frequencies and code configs (for digital or buffered analog), even somehow for manual fuses?

Keep checking your invintory screen in town. If a bomb appears, just drop it and you will get killed by the gaurds. Only a one minute respawn then. If it explodes before the gaurds get to it, you still get the hilarity of everyone else getting gibbed.

Although it is a pain in the ass. Realize the mechanic is there to limit suicide bombings, because otherwise the steal skill wouldn't be needed. The activator could run up and explode without the fear of an eight minute respawn, then come back and do it again three more times in the time it would take him to respawn once otherwise.

I think this manner of greifing is just a small price to pay until all gaurded towns have bombsniffing gaurds. At that point, to keep it fair to the people who like bombing (As I do), the eight minute cooldown should be removed. No point having a long cooldown for something the gaurds are going to be designed to attempt to stop, right?

To Recap
First point being "It sucks, but its a neccessary evil."

Second point being "It can be avoided if you have fast reflexes"

Third point being (And this ones for the devs) "One or the other, not both please"

Don't make others fail like you. Never drop dynamite. If you see activated dynamite in your inventory just disarm it by using traps skill on it, even if you'll fail (of course you will, if you're not bomber yourself) it'll explode in front of you so if you have enough HP you'll be alive. In most cases you'll have enough HP, because planters usually have low traps skill, as they're hoping for inner explosion. Oh, and of course guards won't kill you after your fail disarming, even if it'll kill some innocent 10 HP bluesuiters (I once killed planter by it who walked away from me too slow).
