Sadly right now, the game isn't designed to be fun or helpful for anyone starting out without a Basic knowledge of the game to begin with. The wiki and the survival guide help but only if you look for them. If you just walk in and start you don't get the info that the whole game is full of lulz seeking abusers who only get thrills by f'n up your day. That you learn the hard way. You can get ahead in the game, but not really alone. As far as the statement you should leave, that is false, because eventually people are going to wake up to the fact that a game like this will continue it's constant circle of lulz=population decline, until something changes. In a bit I'll post in suggestions a new idea for maybe lessening the blow to low level players, without changing the current flawed pvp system.

Lulz and retardedness is only going on in populated safe towns. People say it's only ncr but that's because ncr is the most populated.
Try to have retard-fun in any unsafe towns and it gets serious fast. Dead serious.

But also, try to have fun in any unsafe town and it dies fast - unless it's 1 Cha, 5 drugged, high tier, faction PvP fun (sometimes mixed with mercs).

I kind of agree with the concerned Wastelander after reviewing your post history. Almost every post you have made has been riddled with complaints, and it seems like you haven't been having any fun at all. I know I wouldn't play a game if I didn't enjoy it.
If you do enjoy it - great. I just don't know what else to think at this point.
