Hi there all.

I'm interested in having a faction website but I have no idea how to build one never mind what to have on it or layouts.

Would anyone be willing to help me?

I already have webspace available from my broadband provider which is what got me thinking.

If any of the website designers for this site are willing to volunteer I would gladly make a donation of £50 to the server upkeep.

Use some CMSes or forum+mods/blog.
If it's just information page you can use Wordpress, or any other blog system. If forum - you can use some forum engines like SMF, PHPBB3, MyBB, etc. If both, easiest would be having both, blog and forum, or just installing additional simple portal extension to forum, for SMF
If you are rather to click way, just install Drupal, Joomla, PHP-Nuke or other.

Yeah blog is very good for faction site
Or you could do just forums with all information there.

If it just needs to be a forum in my opinion the easiest way is via PHP BB v3 if you want to make it this way i may help you
