actually no big difference 44 or 45 hex for laser, coz lazers dont pool the militia and they dont start the fight. They have to do a damage, when enemy starts to rush or smth, so no big difference 44 or 45 hex. And u , as a skilled player know this already.

I don't say it's bad (it has pretty good crit. chance), just that I wouldn't call it "best", that's all.

I dont see the problem that you cant shoot one more hex, the problem is that you wont see your targets. With 47 or 50 hexes makes much easier to stop the rushes and counter snipers, especialy other lasers.

I see the build can do well in big groups in some situations, but as was said, its not the best build.
