An ambiguous situation in which we don't know whether there's gonna be a rollback or not? That's just bad.

Is it that hard to, you know, inform people about your plans when nasty stuff like that happens? I think most players who prefer to wait with till this gets cleared would appreciate that instead of people cracking unfunny oneliners. But then again we can now laugh at Lordus' misfortune so I guess it all sort of evens out

We only restored the items inside containers and on the ground, restoring the ones in player inventories and car trunks would have required more work.

Just being honest but that sounds like a lazy excuse.

But meh, you got the majority fix, seeing as I doubt many people had entire truckloads of LSWs storing away in cars.

This thread is too funny, in the way where I'm disappointed in laughing about it...  It's nothing new, hundreds of threads just like this one in the Grav- I mean Junkya- I mean Junk section.

Here's a good one:  I pity the man who used his slaves mercs and/or brahmin as a storage container for items such as Metal Armour and LSWs :>.

Oh and:  I am too pro for metal armor.  So cry noobs who now can't live through 1 shot from my huge co- I mean di-  err Avenger Minigun as I also look super-pro in my BAs.

I suppose they could check the total # of LSW and Metal Armors that there were in the previous DB record and subtract the amount of each that were returned to ground and containers.

This gives total number stored in merc/cow/slave/car inventories. (Player invs?)

Assuming that there is a total number consolidated for the two sets (ground/container and mobile entities.)

The idea is that an amount equal to the remainder can be spawned and divvied up- people wont get their exact amount back, and there will be liars, but its something.

Or just suck it up- its a Beta.
