Had the same idea , it would be nice for such a place exist longer than one evening , since gm's put a lot of work and time to make the event.

Depends on how accurate the advance is , if you give exact time then yes , if just tell that in the next two or three days there is gonna be an event then no and if the map would be large enough wouldn't be a problem , if gm's could fix the problem with gear stacking there wouldn't be any problems in any circumstances.

maybe there should be some kind of server message announcing it followed by a command you could enter to get to event...
