(Interface) "Faction channel" button on radio.

You can specify faction radio channel in the faction terminal.
It seems like it doesn't serve any real purpose.

I think it would be nice if radio window had "faction channel" button - clicking it would change channel to the faction channel (same channel as is set in the terminal of your faction). If you had no faction, the button could set channel to 0 or be inactive/disabled.

Then you wouldn't have to worry to remember what's the current channel of your faction and type the numbers everytime you get a new radio.

And if someone stoles a radio? You have to go your base, tell everyone that someone stoled your radio while you were talking to them, and then wait for an officer to go to the terminal and change faction radio channel? No thanks. I like the idea, thought. Maybe faction might "buy" a secure channel, by using a sort of PIPBoy decryption protocol.

I guess if non-member switches that button, then it changes to his faction channel...

Yes, but still the radio would be on that particular channel. This doesnt solve anything, apart that you dont have to remember a 4 digit number.

That's the case now.

Isn't it the goal of this suggestion?

I thought the goal of this suggestion was so that if you lose a radio and need to change your faction channel you can do so without having to forum pm your members.

The point of software interface (and game is software) is to make your life easier, not harder.
The idea was to make it more convenient not "secure".

No, cause important faction things (example kicking members, inviting other members etc) can be done only by faction officier.

The game is a game. Just because you cannot focus on a 4-digit-number, isnt game fault. More probably, is your fault.

why to be such a hater?

if you use the button to swich to faction cannel is the same thing as entering a 3-5 digit number, but whitout remembering it, so if you lose it is the same thing with the sugestion implemented or not

Im not hating anyone. I'm just saying that this, for me, isnt a thing that we need. Feel free to think what you want, after all devs got last word about everything.

I think you misunderstand, currently if you lose a radio set to 1234 and decide you want to change the faction channel to 2234 you can change it in the terminal but your members will be unaware of this unless they go and check everytime they log on. So you end up using irl mesaging to inform them of the change as its more reliable.
This feature would allow you to log on hit the faction radio button and know youre not on the old channel channel.
