An oldie but a goodie.
It was better when you could get guards to splash each other with burst weapons, and their AI would go into a feedback loop.

On this thread, I've seen some trolling and griefing, and some of the comments to the topic, but I hope the situation might be resolved later on, in the future, I'm hoping.

Well i got to say that several days ago i had a real blast! (both literally and not)
I went to NCR to roleplay a bit and talk to some people. Then i see someone doing something suspicious near me. Seconds after that i see me taking 288 damage!
Dang! No kind of armor would safe my life back there...
I dunno when explosives got so powerful but the way they are now they do need to be nerfed

You're totally wrong. A BA for example, widely available, would reduce your 288 damage to 112 damage, which almost any char at lvl 21 would survive.
