Suicide Bombing.

We will change the way explosives are working in the future, so suicide bombings will still be possible, but much harder than right now. Can't say when exactly this will be in the game, though. Just wanted to drop a line and tell that we are trying to do something against this issue.

Sounds pretty time consuming. You have to walk that bluesuit to the target location and then transfer the items. There are always ways to grief no matter how many obstacles. But punishing death and rewarding living would greatly affect the way players played in general, not only suicide bombing.
And moreover, suicide bombing isn't even that big deal. People choose to be targets of such actions when they stand in guarded location and chat or idle. It would be a big deal if it seriously damaged some gameplay activity like stealing does for bartering. Atm it's just mostly retarded because the bomber suicides and that's all.

Right now, there is a bug that allows you to blow up other people in NPC-guarded locations without even seeing a respawn or any karma/protected status loss. Dunno if it was fixed or not; if it wasn't, I can send a description of it to any of 2238 devteam, but the thing is pretty obvious, so I bet it is fixed already.
If considering any records, mine is 5 kills at once in NCR and 2 kills during TC (previous session, lots of HPs :( ). Too bad that explosives aren't too much useful in PvP, it would probably save partially guarded towns as explosives would be better used elsewhere.

I was making 1st level alt just to go to NCR, take rail line gang quest, then go there, take flare, return, just to make Sha Enin a bit brighter. Making an alt just to come to NCR and let your friend activate dynamite and give it to you isn't that hard, especially when you know that exploding people in NCR is much funnier. The same about bursters, you can even make permadeath for suiciders, it won't change anything, the only problem that 200+ hp CA/BA guys will be most likely unkillable by them, because of lack of BRD and only 10% critical chance, but you can use a friend and do 2 1st level suicidal noobabursters! In case if you really want to kill someone in guarded town and punishment is too heavy. Also why do you want punishment for suicidal killers when you can just suggest to prevent it? Like "unable to attack in guarded towns" or "guards are extrasenses and instakill you before you pull a trigger". Suicidal killers are ok, atleast they make guarded towns somewhat alive, even when it sounds really weird, but it's true.

And how will they fix it? If you're talking about disarming of course ^_^ Unable to disarm?

really is it bug? I finished Fallout 2 using trick like that... twice :)
