ok, finall we have reducted cooldowns - everyone was waiting for that for reall long time. to get some items we can:
- kill some guys and loot their stuff :)
- farm stuff on encouters
- craft

and buy form npc traders.. but what we can buy there ? only some rubish.. traders r refeishin like once per 24 hours , its way to long for 100-200 /600 ? online players. so maybe reducting that time to 30 minutes will be a not that bad idea ?

all gangs have a lot of stuff but still only one problem in nowdays are drugs, will be nice to have possiblity to buy some drugs, not only craft.

I don't see what the problem is, Finding good shit at traders isn't really that hard you just need to know which traders to go to.

Spent some time wandering around and I saw 4 CA sitting at a single trader. Buffouts do indeed seem to be rare but the rest of it can be found.

With any existing auction mechanizm market would react itself. Price of buffors would rise => crafters would make it more.....

this and more high tech stuff for traders = love

It's not that i don't believe you ....... i just don't believe you.

It's not about that everything can be found it's about what is more rewarding , like now i don't give a shit to trade because crafting is much better and efficient. It doesn't feel rewarding and it's time expensive i run around the whole wasteland countless times to find a dozen buffouts and maybe a ca , now crafting WAY more faster. The only thing traders are useful in my opinion is sucking out caps from them.

Buff high tech stuff and nerf low for traders since there is no infinitive money it shouldn't hurt.

With the current cooldowns gathering HQ ores and minerals is easy.
Crafting is too, assuming you have a few crafters.

All drugs are easy to get or easy to craft with exception of buffout. Meat is heavy. A character with around 120-130 carry weight can carry enought meat to make around 80 meat jerky which is good for 8 buffout.
Buffout prices peaked at 6k per 1 during this session. However due to the amount of time involved to get meat jerky people don't like crafting it. At least I know I certainly don't like it.

over 9000 man , over 9000.

That's devs job we players don't have any exact numbers of how many drugs spawn in all traders over x time or any kinda of precise information , so it's kinda impossible to calculate some actual numbers.

With these cooldowns traders aren't even needed.

If they restocked faster, the same players would camp them over and over again to get the goodies. If they restocked more, the same players would buy everything with single haul. I remember past wipes when combat armors used to spawn only in shops and there were dedicated barter alts patrolling the shops every restock hour and taking everything useful. It was annoying.

Current traders are pretty nice but only because there's not that many players. For example Raiders base is good place to get easy superstims, caps and high tier sg but only because there's no other players. Wtf, what kind of trading suffers from lots of customers?

I would prefer an auction where players set what they want and other players provide. Npcs are idiots, they WANT to buy broken fnfals, greaseguns or 5mm ap ammo for good price for infinite ammounts and then nobody buys it. Npcs should want what players want.

Perhaps in town traders should have chance for more decent stuff like better guns, armor, drugs, etc but only if it would be appropriate. Son of Bob isn't going to be selling BAs next to his selection of high quality kebabs. Also I would like to see the traveling merchants have more than 1 or 2 caps on them. Most of the survival guides recommend staying out of town as much as possible when you are a noob and being able to trade your stuff at a traveling merchant, perhaps not for caps, to get basic gear like leather armor, 10mm pistol, and knifes. Just stuff that the noobs need and most experience players wouldn't bother to kill for.

So what's the problem with secure Modoc for time long enough to gather there meat and process it to meat jerky? Same with chemical components. And even I have medic alt that can craft drugs.

However pwning n00bz in BH is more fun, I guess :>

You are forgetting an important aspect of the game:
Player traders!

I believe the developers would prefer, people to have to interact with each other, over getting all items at a NPC shop.
If you boost NPC stocks to carry alot of high tier equipment / drugs, you also kill off the livelihood of the (few) players that actually find player-to-player trading to be the main aspect of the game.

Add auctionhouse to the current functions of the FLC banks.
Example:
1.) Sheisse places his X buffout for sale there, set time and min price. Pays a fee equivalent to 10% of min price wanted.
2.) Wichura then goes to bank and places 20k for the buffout.
3.) Josh then places 25k and wins as the time expires. Picks up his buffout!
4.) Sheisse picks up his 25k next time he enters the bank
5.) Wichura can collect his 20k again, as he didnt win.
Of course all branches should show all available auctions.
