Just got banned for duallog. Goodbye.

Hello there,

I just found out that I and my friend (neighbor) got pernamently banned for, as the GM Gorlak claims, duallogging. My friend says that he told to Gorlak that we have one shared ip for whole building, and that we're behind router, but the only thing he said is "hmm", or something like that, and then he gave us permaban, without asking him any questions.

As I'm aware, we're not the only guys in this building who are playing FOnline, his father is playing the game too, and there's also one other guy, which I don't know him personally, but it's possible that there are more than 2 people playing at same time, using that IP address.

Anyway, I personally don't care about that ban, since I'm not playing more than 3 weeks in total, and I only wanted to test this game, mainly because of inspiration. I'm developing similar game by myself, called OpenArcanum.

Actually, I should thank you, since I became a bit addicted to that, so that ban is a perfect cure for it :) My friend isn't and won't be that happy though, but he'll get over it as well, I guess. But I won't even try to guess the reaction of the other guys, don't know if they got banned too or not.

I believe you can +requesthelp some GM and ask for a simple test which demonstrates you are two guys using two computers.

1 IP for a single building is possible, they just need a good connection. Unlike its not some campus like house, it's still rare to have such setup.
