Yeah, i think so too. Just wondered what Roachor ment by saying, that the first sneak counts.

First all bonuses are applied and total sneak calculated, then penalties are applied.

Just to elaborate on ghost, it only works within 5 hexes of an object and it can't push your sneak over 300. If your sneak and ghost add up to 300 you will have 264 sneak with a 2 handed weapon, 234 when out of cover.

Should be the same chance as with any other weapon what can critically hit with single shot.

Are you asking this because knock-backs don't always occur with knockouts and knockdowns? Sometimes doing only KO's or KD's? I really don't remember.

I was asking as I thought whenever you got a crit hit it was a knockback, so i thought I could have an SD sneaker with sledge and crit knock them away and resneak, rinse and repeat?

Silent Death is for one-handed weapons, i beleive. The Sledgehammer requires two.

I did a little testing and so far i only got knockbacks from a critical with KO/KD, though i was using a regular Sledge.

I'm kind of confused by the Knockback perk on the sledge/supersledge, I seem get the same knock back effects using melee weapons that don't have the perk.

Still it seems to not work properly. Did you test this really some time?

I'm not saying it doesn't work at all but we really couldn't make out any difference. Though, one would have to test this with equal chars (one without and one with Ghost and same at exact same skill %). We did this but the % of sneak skill differed about 5% or something (can't really recall the exact stats from this test, since it happened some months ago).

I haven't used ghost since they changed it to only working within 5 hexes, personally i think its a waste of a perk slot.

Yeah, despite the suspicious outcome of the tests we made it can't be a good investment at all. Even if it would work properly it wouldn't make a noteworthy difference.

Pro: makes you save 90 skill points what is 2 less IN required on sneak build(or basicaly decrease your visibliity by 5 hexes), works pretty good if its used in town(redding, den, broken hills...)

Flaw: Build isnt BEST sneaker who can operate in open country.
