This could actually be made easily: there is also an option to steal brahmin from the persn you kill: "hey, you are my cow now!"

Just add "I don't want you anymore" dialogue line to all types of NPC followers and then anyone can talk to them and claim them.

I was hoping for such a feature for a long time - so hands up for this one.

Also, will be nice to add dialog line "you belongs to another man now", and then type his name in dialogue window by "say" button.
