why does that concern you? so go play 2238, and let people play their FOAUS

VSB is there also. Just before you enter this server you have to fully understand it is a beta. And you are the part of guys who are testing it for further patches, updates, changes, just improving the game. If there will be any questions, join IRC foaustralia.

There are lot of pros, there are cons. Something better, something worse than 2238.

Is it possible to have several bases part of the same faction, or is it one base per faction?

Is it possible to have several tents/caves/houses on the same character or will making a new home delete the old one like on 2238?

You can have as many bases as you want on one character

A PvP situation has been developed! Three sides exist:

The Imperial Bozo Legion: hosted by me and some hawks
Australian Army: hosted by Feltzer (I believe) and some random players
The Plague: hosted by Glumer and some hawks/VSB

The game has some PKs I believe.

edit. Beware of Grim. (not gr1m) as he is a power armor PK in Broome.

Seems like this server is a playground for the hawks.

We are trying to help the server..If you think this Grim. is "gr1m"...it is incorrect, there is 2 grims. We do not kill the new players as we are trying to gain more population for this server.  :)

Is there anything else than pvp? If not there is no point to download it. As far as i noticed its fighting against the same old faces as on 2238 but under new brand.

Ok, so I made a bank vault, but it says im not part of this faction when I try the terminal. I managed to close the vault door, but it cant be openned now.

Any way to correct the situation?

You need to set a faction name. After write ~myinfo. And use number of ID you have there, for inserting it into "recruit a faction member". And you have to recruit yourself at first.

PvP:
- Mercs (you kill the merc leader, mercs vanish/die)
- For BGs, it's much closer to the last session of 2238, as hexing won't kill a tank in 2-3 bursts, but maybe a non-tank in 1-2.
- For Snipers, you have the gauss pistol and rifle, decent snipers probably won't be able to carry PA/APA. (Haven't tested.)
- Energy weapons have pulse rifle, I heard that it's effective against PA.
- Grenades suck.
- TC.

PvE:
- There are some new encounters, such as zombie hunters, where you'll find some humans with assault rifles fighting zombies.
a. Australian Patrol (Enclave patrol)
- Modified Encounter names.
- Slaves
- Bounty Hunters appear if you are a child killer.

Locations:
Broome: The starter town and imo the best map.
N.R.A.: Copy of NCR but it's a custom map.
Other bland maps such as Parkes, Broken Hills (custom) and Perth
Then there are the reused maps such as New Reno, Navarro, Primal Tribe, Den, Redding (Emu Plains), Gecko (Ashford), San Fransisco (Hobart), etc.
WIP Locations: Sydney and Atoll.

Crafting:
- No professions required. (Except for architect.)
- Build towns, bases, vaults, etc. (Some require the architect profession.)
- All the weapons except vindicator, turbo plasma rifle, etc.

Factions:
- Ranks
- Cave 2, trading post and vaults have faction terminals which allow you to build a faction with.
